Since 2004 the CEO of Global work support, Rob van Maanen, has visited Lithuania. He was invited several times to present programs which were and are succesful in the Netherlands.
Themes like job coaching, mediation, placement and coaching of employers have compared with programs in Lithuania.
Since 2007 Global work support is involved in European programs in supporting Roma in Lithuania, Slovakia, Czech Republic and The Netherlands to get a regular job on the labourmarket.
In Lithuania The Netherlands Embassy in Vilnius supports small projects for Roma. In November 2011 GWS has received a subsidy from the Royal Netherlands Embassy for a small project with a young Rom teaching other young Roma in english language.
