The Federal Employment Agency is the labour market's biggest service provider in Germany. As a public body with self-governance it acts independently within the framework of applicable law.

The Bundesagentur headed by the Executive Board. It consists of the chairman of the Executive Board, Frank-J. Weise, and the members of the Executive Board, Heinrich Alt and Raimund Becker. The Executive Board manages the BA and administrates its businesses. It represents the BA in and out of court.
